What Readiness Means in 2026: Explore why website performance is no longer limited to speed, and how accessibility, privacy, security, and AI visibility now define digital readiness.

A Drupal website can look stable and still fall short on the checks that define digital readiness.

Across 876+ audited Drupal websites, the report found that accessibility and security risks are widespread. 84.2% of websites had WCAG AA accessibility errors, while 94.6% showed detectable security risk. Privacy readiness was also weak, with websites passing only 26% of critical GDPR/CPRA compliance checks on average.

The findings show that many Drupal websites are carrying risks across user access, compliance, and security. These are not isolated issues, but recurring gaps that teams need to detect, prioritise, and fix continuously.
